| use | 2-ethimazole is a universal intermediate with a wide range of uses. It is used as an active ingredient as well as as a base material for epoxy curing. It is used to synthesize Lazasaban, an inhibitor of highly effective, selective and oral bioavailable factor Xa. It can also be used to synthesize 4-aryl-5-cyano-2-aminopyrimidine as an inhibitor of VEGF-R2.
